i'm going to labette and i think kaleb lowmaster is too.
Everyone needs an inspiration like Tyler. He fought harder than anyone ever has on a wrestling mat and it was for his life.

Colby is just as good as labette. Labette may have won it this year but colby is still a strong program. they will have gilliand, both schippers, dennis, prater, and sum strong others.

I don't know why anyone would want to wrestle in college if they're not scholarship'd. You'd really...i mean REALLY have to love the sport or think you have a real chance to be good. College is such a whole different deal...it's rough, the practices are intense and every match is like the state high school finals. Fort Hays has had some good guys flat quit, including one four-timer. I certainly wouldn't want to get beat up day after day for no money.

I agree with Mike Holliday. If you are not given a scholarhip, you shouldn't wrestle. What kind of chances are you going to have against the guys that are on scholarhip? ZERO. You're just going to get beat on everyday.

If you're talking about Zorhous, (I know I didn't spell it right) we had an assist coach this year that went to school with him and said he was one of the most laziest persons he knew and his ability was all natural, and at college he was actually having to work and thats why he quit.

you do not always have to have a scholarship to be good. it all about who wants it the most and how hard you are willing to work to earn the spot you have earned.each one of us here at labette worked our butts off this year to get where we were and had to wrestle tought teams to get there.
as for not going to college to wrestle just because you dont have a scholarship that is just plaing stupid. if you are willing to put forth the effort then college wrestling is great.

You'll better love wrestling to wrestle in college. Unless you finish H.S. on a GREAT note, you won't get scholarship'd. 3-4 weeks of gettin' pounded on for no money and no chance to make varsity make even great h.s. wrestlers quit. What else could you be doing in college?....homework, parties, girls, hangin' with friends, etc. I applaud anyone willing to walk on to a wrestling team. But Alex...I love you man and hope you prove me wrong, but walking on to CCC'S wrestling team and gettin' the tar beat outta ya everyday - i give you 3 weeks.
