The Clearwater fans were situated with Abilene fans in the stands in front of us, and some young 20ish Abilene fans behind us. We had Goodland to the left of us and Junction City to the Right.

At the start of the match between Bahe and Dawson the 20ish Abilene fans really started being vulgar and EXTREMELY vocal. Yelling for Dawson to break this F***ing neck. Rip his F***ing arms off. Ba Ba Bahe is going to get his A$$ F***ed. And very much more. Then suddenly Bahe pinned Dawson.

Then this seemingly quiet grandmother (Bahe's I think) jumped up and faced the intruding fans and at the top of her lungs yelled. "Take that you sonsabitches, the best one one. That should shut you up."

It was great.

The bad thing was that the 20ish Abilene fans though they were in the right. One of them even claimed to be insulted to be called a sonsabitch. With what all they were yelling, her comments paled in comparison.

Our fans had to shake her hand. It was Great. Some of the Junction City fans were clapping for her.

Unfortunately, we then had to call security because they became even more beligerent as the finals proceeded.

But the look on grandma's face was precious.

It is sad that no one heard the wrestlers creed before the start of the tournament.

unfortunatly I know exactly all the people you are talking about, and I won't say much more about them becuase I already talked to them. The lady you wre refering to was actually Blaze's mom. I was standing with a few of the guys that were doing all the talking after Jake's match was over and she came up and appologized to them. I told her that what they had done was not right and that I was sorry on behalf of them. She is a really nice lady and I didn't want their actions to represent Abilene as a whole. I come on this site alot and say things that I think are appropriate in terms of my opinions. But very rarely will I talk trash on anyone. Those guys know they were wrong and I think Mrs. Bahe understood thier excitement and stupitidy at the same time. Im in agreement with you Titan, what they did was wrong so I hope that it can just be done and over with now.

That woman who yelled that over to the Abilene crowd was not Bahe's grandmother. It was a parent of a past wrestler. During the Deeds/Ortiz match that 20ish crowd started yelling in the same manner for Ortiz. There must of been an epidemic breakout of Nigelitis in Abilene this last week. I would like to congratulate Jake and Ross for their championships. Some fans [like me] go to watch great matches with all of the action on the mat, not in the crowd.

Dustin, as I've said before I was not one of those guys up there towards the top yelling all of those things because I wouldn't do that. I was sitting lower down next to Coach Christner. I walked up there twice to talk to them, and I even gave Jordan great credit by saying that he was going to win his match so I was leaving. So don't lump me in with those guys and don't use my name in a negative manner. I was there to watch wrestling not yell at wrestlers which is pointless cause they can't hear you anyway.

Sounds like the situation was handled. I did not lump them with Abilene as a whole. That is why I identified them as I did. Generally, other than being overly enthusiastic, in a kind of finger nails on the chalk board kind of way, Abilene crowds are great sports.

I wish all our fans followed our guys they way they do.

I would like to say I'm sorry for using your name like I did. But I saw you come and sit down with that crowd, so I thought that you stayed up there. My bad. Again I'm sorry. It will not happen again.

Same thing happened at 321a a highschool kid from Onaga was booing and cursing St Francis, and the NWKL. After Richard got pinned in the 103 finals
a former SF wrestler got in his face and told him if he wanted to cheer for that team, to go over and sit with them. He shut up after that.
