i think it has to go for Jerad from Subway, he was too fat to wrestle 275, and the next year, after taking the Subway diet, he wrestled 112.

Wow!! That's quite impressive. I know a kid who cut 17 in 2 days and Danny Mainus once cut 16 in 2 days. Good for you, but that's not that impressive.

My fellow teammate Tim Sprigg came in his freshemn year weighing around 190, and after being sick over christmas break he cut down to 145. it was pretty impressive and only possible because he was quite a little butter ball during football.

my brother's junior year he challenged at 140 and lose, then cut down to 119 cause that was the only spot open. he wrestled that same weight his senior year. Now he weights 160 and is in the best shape of his life

Clarence Sponsel (if I remember correctly) cut 15 pounds in one day.
Kenny Brown (152 state champ) weighed 175 in the fall and cut to 152.

As a sophomore in the early 80s (before the days of the "requirement" of a doctor's note to lose more than 10 percent of your weight), I started at 122 and tried to make 98 (this was in the days before the changes in weight classes)...I made it to 100 before I got sick and was forced to eat...
Ended up certifying at 105, but wrestled most of the season at 112 and 119...Even had a few matches at 132 (and won them)...I probably didn't weigh more than 110 after certification...

after the change from heavy weight to 275, i saw a guy go from 340 to 275 so he could wrestle. That's a lot, but it is different when he was cutting fat. Imagine that. It's like a 171 pounder cutting to 112 or 103.
