This was a great event.

The wrestling and officiating was outstanding.

Congratulations to all the participants and thank you for a great night of wrestling.

I was extremely impressed with the wrestling I seen tonight. There are some very good kids that are about to hit the college level soon.

I know the crap is about to start about 5A-6A being tougher than the smaller classes, but overall, this was great wrestling. Big Schools won 12 of 20 matches I believe, but each match had great excitement. Many of these matches could have went either way.

Good luck to all of these young men in the future, high school nationals, college ect. Looking forward to Mr. Salyer posting about you all as he is so good at!!

Congrats to the big schools they won the first one. But I don't care if you would have been from Mexico City which I think is still the biggest city in the world, Taplin would have kicked your butt, man he looked like an animal out of a cage.

My point, There are good individuals in each class and some of the match ups could go either way on any given day, but some Like Mr. Taplin just flat out take it to ya.

The Big Dogs were banging and man I enjoyed every minute of it.

And ups to Danny Grater, Joe threw a few cheap shots here and there but he didn't let it affect him and wrestled a smart match, a true class act.

Amen to that. That was quite a nice little upper cut that Joe gave him. I was amazed that Grater took it so well (physically and emotionally). I was sad to see Joe's lack of sportsmanship. However, he did stick around and watch many of the other matches. Maybe he learned a few things about sportsmanship by watching how others responded after losing their tough matches.

That was some outstanding wrestling, I was on the edge of my seat all night. As far as the bragging rights for the big schools, well there were several close matches that could have gone either way to change the outcome. The only real whipping of the night was Taplin` I dont think there was anyone there that could have beat him.

There were several really good matches with 3 or 4 going to overtime. Taplin was very dominite but I thought Baldridge was too pinning a 4x state placer. The Grater and Cornejo match was very awesome. Two All-Americans going at it is something you don't get to see everyday. I think all 4 of these young men have a great chance of being high school all-americans next week at Cleveland. Good Luck to everyone going to Cleveland. I think the KWCA did a great job of putting on the senior classic.

MikeT had a nice way to put that. Taplin and Baldridge are two very dominite wrestlers. Danny and Joe's match was very exciting. But I thought that Wise kid Taplin wrestled would be better then that. My thought was wrong. Taplin is just a straight out god darn good wrestler. I wish him and the rest of the guys going to Cleveland the best of luck and hope they do good.

Everyone kinda left out Sprigg--- everytime I watch that guy I am just AMAZED at his quickness, he was at least as dominating as any other participant, the big guys definitely had it together, and just never lost their direction. ups to them, and mr Taplin, Mr. Grater, Mr. Baldridge, and Mr. Sprigg. I think that we definitely will be well represented if all those young men are headed to the Sr. Nat's. (Mike Fairleigh, cheaply running up his son's posts.)

A big thank you to Aaron Bingham from Manhattan High School who volunteered to fill a vacancy for the big schools at 135 lbs. with very short notice.
