During regionals the scoring is 14 pts. 1st, 10 pts. 2nd.
2 pts. fall, tech fall 1.5, major 1. Don't know if state is the same but I would assume so. And yes, Abilene still has a chance if things fall right.

Lucas-- looks like the numbers might have been a little better than the talent.

I think you get 30 points for 1st, 24 for 2nd, 20 for third, and then it drops 2 points for every place after that.

what I mean is that it looks to me as though Scott City-- the team that NO ONE gave any chance to be in the top 6, has all the "talented" teams scrambling to come up with enough points to win. I simply mean that a team with 13 determined young men can do a lot with 5th and 6th places. there is some doubt of the outcome, as I understand it, but I think Scott City has proven that they deserved to be there.

you are right i never thought they would be were they are at. I had no idea they took 13 kids.
If my math is right i do not think abilene will have enough but we will see how it turns out.

Ross won Congrats

Abilene needed falls from Dawson, Kriegbaum, and Taplin, and a loss by Eisenhour in the finals to catch Scott City. A victory would have been worth four (4) points and two (2) additional points for the pin(s).

Any chance of victory went down the toilet with Blayze Bahe's victory over Dawson.
