Only if I can be the ref.
Venegas is already penalized one point for having the cliche USA Wrestling tattoo on his calf.
And Mock is penalized one point for having someone create a topic about himself, then proceeding to brag about how #1 he is.
And Manion is penalized one point for being from Wichita Heights. Jerk Falcons.
I declare myself the winner.

That would be quite delicious.
But where is the mention of Garker in this list of top fatties?

I believe Aaron Sweazy is listed on the Central Oklahoma wrestling roster for last season at 197/HWY. Surely Sweazy would like to be in the competition, and perhaps could meet Garker in a pigtail match to determine who advances.
Prant I must warn you, Aaron had a record last year of 1 win and 7 losses. Of the 7 losses 4 were by fall and 1 by tech fall.
I do not recall Sweazy on the Varsity roster, and believe his competition was in open tournaments.

Sweazy:
The post was not intended as a slam, you had the courage to step on the mat and should be commended.
I remember certain posts regarding Dustin May, and several others, which I believed to be in poor taste, and I felt I should research your accomplishments in order to ascertain your qualifications.
Again, no slam intended, and feel free to volunteer for the contest.

How DARE you, Mr. Salyer! To insinuate that I would need a pigtail match to even be allowed in the tournament! This is blasphemy indeed, and rest assured if I were a moderator, you would get The Boot for such slanderous and obviously untrue remarks. For shame.
Need I remind you that I had a record of 14-11 as a 215er? Need I remind you that in a World Series of wrestle-offs with the infamous Jhris Cennings I won by a score of 4-3? Need I remind you that I made Chase Verdorn (national runner-up) BLEED?
A pigtail match, Mr. Salyer? I believe what you MEANT to say was a bye into the championship match...I'll accept your apology whenever you choose to offer it.

Oh, and I think we can safely remove Destrick Lee from the competition. He was a state champ, yes, but would he have defeated either A.J. Polansky from Manhattan or Calvert Chaney of Wyandotte?
And I believe we should also remove Scott Coleman from this debate, seeing as how he wrestled 171 as senior. (If we're going by how they performed in high school, that is.) He didn't discover the joy of being a fatty until later in life. Any thoughts on who might replace him?

How about Darryl Zimmerman from Concordia. He was a total manster.
Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

One more match, a Zach Hemmerling vs. Gerrad Speer clash of the titans.

Ok I'm just going to mix and match weights as according to what people weighed in high school keeping it somewhat close (and considering what some people probably weigh now)....I'd like to see
"One Eyed" Joe Nelson v. Gerrad "watch out for the"Speer

I show no remorse to anyone from Heights, who obviously made a deal with Satan and scored 21 points in the final 81 seconds (don't ask me how it happened, Satan is the only answer) my senior year in districts. You're lucky I haven't burned your school to the ground, sir.

I can respect your frustration there, however, I don't understand why that would conflict my opportunity to triumph. I wish you and your Mahnhattan Indian heritage would just leave this alone

It would conflict your opportunity to triumph because anyone from Wichita Heights is my mortal enemy.

Coachtwink, I think it's safe to say that Pamon Darker has had a man-crush on MANY a guy, so your point has no substance.

I had not taken that into account. Regardless of the # of man-crushes Pamon has had, Boyle would walk through that bracket. I simply chose the wrong example.
Thanks for setting me straight.

I would have to agree with slydogg an i bet venagas would open a good ol fashion can of whoop on ur *** too. If venagas wouldnt have messed his shoulder up the day before he would have been crowned state champ.

I agree with coachtwink that none of those guys stand a chance with Boyle. Also, I wrestled Scott Coleman and he would probably beat 80% of the others on the list even at 171 pounds.
Speer should be considered for the list. I beat him in a tough match ( 13-4 ) when I was a junior and he was still young, a fresh or soph. I could tell he was going to be good and he ended up a great wrestler.
