Of course, there is the argument that he should have learned from getting put on his back in the state finals last year. Maybe he just doesn't have the experience fighting off his back that most sophmores have. He will learn, mature and be one hell of a wrestler the next two years (that is as long as he doesn't get stuck).

I have had a chance to wrestle with both Doug and Sequoya. In their city finals match they both knew that take downs was going to win the match. In this case it didn't. Both were being to cautious and knew that if they made one mistake that the other one would counter because that is how good they are.
On the other hand Lein pinned Sequoya with about 20 seconds left in the third period and Lein was up by one.

Didn't Hill get kicked out of school the week of state? That pretty much shows that he has a lot of maturing left to do. He does have a lot of talent though and has potential to be very good. I also saw him get stuck at the Newton Finals by Cody Betsworth of Santa Fe Trail. Oh, and I heard a rumor that Hill maybe going to Wichita West next year, is there any truth to that?

Think you have it the wrong way around, I believe Hill will stay at Heights and Thomas Rhodes will move on over to Witchita Heights.

Hill won't be at Heights, Rhodes already is.

Hills future is not yet decided. Thomas is though already at Heights.
