Could one of you gentlemen put some start times on hear in case some fans may want to come and watch. This looks like some great matchups. Two of 4a's best in Grater and Taplin. Taplin got a well deserved O.W. at the classic with four pins. I'm not sure he made it out of the first period. And I'm sure Sharpe will be at 152 lbs. I'll pick Grater, Sharpe, and Taplin in the middle wieghts. At 119lbs Dawson was very impressive at the classic. And I'm going with Mr. Whitty at 215. Haven't seen him wrestle but he must be a stud. Good luck everyone.

Nigel,
The original post has been edited as candyman had included several Norton wrestlers in his original listing of wrestlers to watch at the Beloit Tournament.
given the context and timing of this exchange, there is no foolishness to be had.

I think that Pietrzyk lost to the kid from Topeka Washburn Rural @ the Salina South tournament.

Very shrewd Jacob, diverting attention from yourself to Pietrzyk. I am very impressed, however, that anyone even knows how to spell Pietrzyk and so by virtue of that accomplishment I hope you win the Beloit tournament as you did Newton. Since 189 seems to be a monstrous bracket at Beloit does anyone know who others have lost to? Didn't Scott from Smith Center beat Jacob Strait last year? Erickson has had a good year hasn't he? Why is Gurtler not ranked? Okay Marrs, fess up, who did you lose to?

I know that Pietrzyk has lost to Marrs bars twice and Butler once. Marrs lost to Butler by one point, I think, at Clay Center.

I lost to Butler 5-3 in OT. I was winning 3-2 and got dinged for stalling with about 15 seconds left. In OT he took me down right as the towel came out. I wish I could wrestle him again tho. Anybody else have predictions for Beloit?

Why, MarrsBars, it's good to have you on the forum. I saw you beat Lee at the Clay Center/Hat Town dual, and I must say I was disappointed that you gave up that cheap escape at the end. (For that means you beat me worse than you beat him.)
And Scott may have beaten Strait last year, I don't remember. What I DO remember is that he eeked out a cheap/bogus/didn'treallycount/seriouslyitwascheapandbogus victory over Hyle Kill. (And yes, I'm bitter, for he was my practice partner and I have a man crush on him.)
My prediction is that BarrsMars will ride everyone's nuts to victory, and Hoxie will once again run away with the team title.
