How good is Garden City, and what were the final placings for 171 and 215? Good to see Frandin made weight again, too.

Garden City is tough and I mean that sincerely. Coach Segovia has done a great job down there and he has a great group of talented individuals. First at Bashehor. Second at Liberal and second at the Colby Duals.
But as tough as they are, ask Garden City how tough Hoxie is.
Garden City won 4 matches (145, 171, 215 & 275) in their dual against Hoxie. Final team score was 45-20.
Crazy thing about that dual was at 140 pounds when Herrman, who was losing 10-0 to Jason Schippers, threw a punch that got him DQ'ed, Garden City hadn't scored a team point yet - so when they took away a point the score was 33 to minus one.

Garden City may be tough, but they still have a long way to go to get to Manhattan's level. 13 medalists at Newton is incredible. After the Indians' domination at Newton, their matchup with Hoxie at Beloit this weekend should be a classic.
