Yea, I don't know why, I figured there would be alot of good wrestlers in the East, but I guess alot was an understatement!

See you people out WEST can think what ya want about the Eastern part of the state. But when u look at it from are point of view we wrestle top school also but, they are not from Kansas. Like for example OAK PARK HIGH SCHOOL KANSAS CITY MO #6 Team in the NATION. PARK HILL, PARK HILL PLATTE COUNTY, SOUTH BLUE SPRINGS SOUTH, BLUE SPRINGS, RAY PAC, and some OKLAHOMA Schools also some IOWA and some from ST. LOUIS MO. Just to name a few. If i could remember correctly at the Baldwin Tournament last year OAK PARK CAKED walked past one of your top teams from out there. So my point is u guys cant realy say that we suck because we see better teams then u do. So that is why are records are low but when it comes to state time we all place. I am not saying that i was the best wrestler but i was not a push over and i have beaten state champs like TJ SEEBALT CINNER FIELD IOWA at the UNI wrestling camp 2 yeas ago. But, this isn't about me this is about the East gettign respect. that is all i have to say right now intill some HATERS POST SOME THING ELSE. O wait who won the hardest tountameant in the state for the past couple of years ACCHS EASTERN SCHOOL or waith KANSAS CITY TURNER LOL, west get real stop all that hatten because all we are going to do is shake u off.

RON HAWTHORNE Okay Ron you just opened a can of worms. You say Oak Park caked walked past ONE, not two or three but ONE of the western teams, could you please tell me who it was? If i'm not mistaken Hoxie a few years ago was ranked #30 or so in the nation, so you're right the west is weak. Norton isn't anything, I'd take them over about any team in the state except maybe goddard at this point. What tournament are you talking about? Could you please tell me where it has been deemed the "Toughest Tournament in Kansas by everyone in Kansas?". You really do need to stop and spell check what you've written because I can seriously point out several very bad mispelled words. This isn't hating on eastern kansas but when was the last time they won the 321A state title? Western Kansas dominates the 321A tournament year in and year out but yes there has been some challenges as of late (Silver Lake). Alex

i don't think this post was meant to show that west was better than east to begin with, but looks like you've just started another argument.

after high school wrestling, every year, it's decided who is the best at the "east west dual" or now the "big school vs. little school dual" both east and west have their ups and downs.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

Ok first off if my bad about the spelling MR. RYAN. I am not trying to start anything on here because there is no point in doing that. I am not saying the west is bad either. What i am saying is that ppl need to stop saying that the East sucks because that isn't true at all. You where in my bracket at state your freshman year home boy. The information that you want is BOBCAT CLASSIC, and the team is Abilene. KC-Turner beat them and SILVER LAKE ALSO my boy. So what are u getting all upset for since i am from the East i don't have in oppion ha. Well Alex there you go

RON HAWTHORNE I just looked at the bracket, you qualified one year, went 1-2 and who did you lose too? Levi Hickman (Lincoln) & Farber (Hoxie). I would consider Lincoln western kansas and hoxie is a given. The bobcat & the newton TOC are 2 of the toughest tournaments but it hasn't been accepted as THE toughest tournament. Abilene isn't exactly western kansas is it? Correct me if I'm wrong but it's on the east side of I-135?

Yea u are right i did go 1-2 at State. But u are wrong by saying i only whent one time. 02, KSSB 03, class 5A schlagle 04, KSSB. Since u want to bust some body out. that same year u lost at state to some body from the east like Bingham. and before state my senior year my only losses came from, Hanses, 5A Livingood, 6A Heart, 4A 2 OTS. So i dont know y u have a problem with me because i voiced my oppion Alex Ryan.

I was behind the qualifier that year, so that wasn't me that lost to the kid from east. The next year I lost to Trevor Richard of St. Francis and then Jacob Deiter of Silver Lake. I won't start the 5A debate again... but well nevermind it's already a dead horse.

But while we're on the "who's hot in the east debate" I would have to throw out some names....
Strawn Holton Ellison Columbus Barett El Dorado Furches Derby As a team I would like to include Derby and Goddard
