Can someone let me know how Detmer from Bishop Carol has been wrestling this season? I saw he won the BC tournament. He has gone to Indianapolis the past couple years with us and I knew he was going to be good. Great kid who is a lot of fun to watch. He is in a tough weight class.

Yea, at the seeding meeting at Bishop Carroll Coach F. said that Detmer had been beat by a State Champion from Oklahoma! Hmmmmm! Who cares.... Detmer was a four seed who beat the number one seed in a great match. I watched him work out at Wichita South with the Highschool National team members that worked out with me and I knew that day how good he was going to be. I wish him good luck and I am looking forward to four years of watching this young talent mature!

Ouch Church. Are you accusing me of embellishing at a seeding meeting? Ok I did say that, but in my defense , after Detmer's loss I was talking to the Catoosa coach and he said, "don't worry about it, that kid is a state champ." I will admit that I should be able to back up my wild claims at seeding meetings but I was going on that one quote. But you are right. Detmer is a good talent who has a good career in front of him. You can always count on this forum discover the truth.

Too bad Kastor moved. He'd kick Detmer's butt.

He's tough this year--took some points from the NJCAA champion at an exhibition match.

we'll find out who is really better. kastor is coming to newton with bishop lynch and he is wrestling 130. if i were to bet on it, i would take kastor by 5. just a thought if kastor didnt move, how good would bishop carroll be? 125- detmer 130- kastor 135- mcdonald 140- arnold 145- rosenhammer 152- loos that team would be ungodly. a possibly of 5 in the finals at state out of 6 wow, its really too bad that he moved

Just my opinion but I cant think of a class or a wieght that could possibly any tougher than 5a-130. There's going to be some great matchups as the season goes on.

NO WAY that kastor could beat detmer. NO way. and he wouldnt make it to the finals. Arnold and Rosenhammer didnt even qualify for state! no way u can put none qualifiers in the finals!... IF ANYTHING, Kastor would have made BC a LITTLE better Dual team and thats it. ALSO....6A 119 is by far tougher than 5A 130. God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Adamson is ranked but down around #20 to #25. Kastor has finished as high as #5 in a national tournament.
