Coaches/Wrestlers/Stat Rats,
It is time to check your final season stats to see if any state records were broken. There is a link on the KWCA home page called "state wrestling records." The link may still be down, but Bob Phillips said he will check on it and try to get it back and working.
Any state record breakers will be honored at the SENIOR CLASSIC, which this year will be held in Abilene on Sunday, March 19. (The change of date and venue is due to an unfortunate conflict with the Senior Nationals being held the same weekend as the Kids State Wrestling Tournament).
Coaches can submit any state records that should be included in the top 20 list to:

Kit,
Curtis Chenoweth is listed in the record books now but never received his award last year.
Also I think a new record was set at 4a State Championships for the number of people that said WHOA, OOO, and AH in the 189 finals match.

Near Fall twos will be set by Matt Rein this year who had well over 70 if I recall.
