They would probably be the ones that wrestled in the championship final matches in their class. Most likely they would be standing at the top of the podium holding a bracket.

Actually, I just overlooked him, but it is not that outrages. I watched them wrestle a pretty close match last year a Brute Nationals. That is a match that could go either way.

I think Payne from Paola is better than Jessen. Also Furches is up there at 103, and it just depends on which day it is for which is better between him and Cox. I think Esterl possibly instead of Dreiling too. Also possibly Cotton over Roe.

I'm waiting to see the 160# guy that get's Roe's attention. His state tourney was too easy from what I saw. You have to enjoy his wrestling.

I've seen Esterl and Dreiling both and I would take Dreiling. I would have said Fisher wihout a doubt before the finals. Remember, I only picked from the Champs.
I picked Cox because he beat Furches the last time and the first time Furches beat him, the post from Furches's dad led me to believe it was poor officiating and Cox should have won. I have seen them both wrestle, but never against each other.
I've never seen Payne wrestle. Has he ever met Jessen?
Also, Roe beat Cotton this year at Newton. It was a great match that went to Double OT.

That loss was avenged at Newton when Roe absolutely crushed Lund.

145 was the best weight class in the 321a tourney. 152 was not far behind. 171 was the most balanced. 12-14 very even matched wreslers at 171.

I'd say 125 at 321A was the toughest. A defending state champ was beat out!!

you act liike Roe absolutly killed Cotton. It was double overtime an first day of the tournament, Bad seating. People do cut weight that first day want to see that match again In a final's match pretty sure it would be different.

if cotton was the best in the state, he would win no matter what day it was......state is also a two day tourney, don't you think roe was also cutting?

Wow...Can't believe anyone would forget a 4xer. Desazher gets my vote until he is beaten.
103...Furches v. Cox. I have seen them wrestle over the past few years, and it is as good as it gets. These two match move for move as good as anyone. Hase should get mentioned too.
Not sure anyone could get Caldwell. he is as good as the hype that has been all over this site.
Livingood is truly a tough customer at 119, but his match with Altman at States was all he could handle, it could have gone either way, and if you ask me...I thought Altman outwrestled him, just got caught on his back and had too much to overcome. It was in my opinion one of the best 3 matches at States.
I think it is time to bring back the Grand Championships. Why not have the top 4 placers wrestle off and crown a TRUE Champ. the reason I say the top 4 from each weight...A kid like Donte Rodgers deserves a shot finishing after finishing third. The list goes on and on about deserving Kids. Thoughts?

Buehler of Lansing (135) was undefeated against Kansas wrestlers this year. I imagine that qualifies him for this discussion.
