Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to quote from one topic to another. This was posted last night in the topic "Kansas Warriors". Can anyone that's going help Andy out with his logistics?

I as a parent flew separate from the Kansas wrestlers and just had the hotel they were staying at pick me up. You are in the Kansas City area so getting a flight should be easy.
I would suggest calling Chuck Elvin at (913)-888-8630 and see if maybe you could get hooked up to share a room and still ride back and forth to the tournament with the kansas team. Also Chuck can be contacted at celvin@everestkc.net. I'm sure he would be more than happy to help you with your questions.

I got an email from Chuck saying that almost 90 people were going with Team Kansas. I know that some are coaches and parents, so I would assume that around 35 or so wrestlers are going, that's a usual guess.

Good Luck to ALL those representing Kansas in this event. It's nice to see 321a, 4a, 5a, & 6a working together as ONE TEAM!

I noticed a couple of non-finalists. When did KS start dealing the "wildcard"?

My guess would be because there is no challenge available for 2nd place and they lost to the champ in the semi's.

I don't know about Rogers at 103, but in the case of Erwin at 215; he lost in the quarters to eventual champion Foster. However, I don't think either finalist (Foster or Racette) are seniors.

Rogers lost to Furches(freshman) in the semis and McCormick(runner-up) was a sophomore I believe.

Why does it show that altman took 2nd? I believe he has 2 1st place finishes.

nope he took 2nd. u probably read the incorrect results in the wichita paper. livengood won the finals match.

Only 1 hwt going? No Payne? No Bowen? No Jessen? No Roberts?

Also I'm sad to see this names not on either: Larry Perez, Lorenzo Mundy,Dustin Bartlett...I'm sure I'm missing several more too from great schools: Andale?! I know they are young but send 1 guy!

Surely some of those guys placed more than twice.

Andy Hurla (STA 145) has a ride, hotel, and is registered. Hopefully, the Kansas Coaching staff can help him from there when he arrives.
