This is a link to a website that broke down the NCAA Div. 1 qualifiers by the state that they wrestled high school in. Very interesting. http://www.intermatwrestle.com/d1qualifiers_state.aspx

Only 8 states with more than us out of 36 listed, and we are tied with Oklahoma.

Is Mark Perry from Stillwater, OK Coach Perry's son? (Coach Perry... as in John Smith's old coach.)

Time even for gutwrench to pay some respect to the KS national qualifiers and wish them many wins. Good thing they got out of KS and finally got some good coachin. ;/ we're gonna keep their scores as a team and see how a mythical team KS might finsih at DI NCAAs. 3-4 AAs and it's a top ten finish which might be better than some Big 12 teams. It'd be more ammo for those who're trying to get a DI team in KS. Part of the justification for dropping at KSU and KU (and that happened well before Title IX) was that they couldn't compete in the Big 8/6 conference. I behind those KS wrestlers at both DIs and DIIs. PS..John Smith's college coach was Tommy Chesboro a smooth talkin' fellar who wore snake skin boots.

Mark Perry Sr. is John Smiths brother-in-law. Mark Perry Jr. is Johns nephew. Tommy Chesbro had a couple sons, any guesses Stench?
