Looks like a good lineup this year. 112 adn 125 look pretty tough.

i beleive Derby will have a much different line up for Rosehill than they did in Garden City. And for some weights, for the rest of the year.

Derby will only have a different line up during this tournament, and then they should be back in full force starting Monday.

152 looks like a pretty good weight, who is Tapia? Never heard of him until he won the Newton Tournament of Champions.

On the Rose Hill tourney web site Derby only has three of the same people that wrestled at Garden City.

Tapea (I think) is pretty good...He impressed me @ Newton with his aggressiveness. He's got a big tank. He had a couple of matches where he just out hustled his opponent, ecspecially late in the matches.

I just saw the 125 bracket and it says Seth Mertins pinned Graham. Did Mertins just catch Graham in something or what?

How about Sparr beat Stroot!!! Woop Woop!

Why isn't Evans-Hutch wrestling? I was hoping him and Elliott-Ark City would tangle again.

Mertins is that good. can he beat Bowen?

Mertins is pretty good but trison has beat him all last year and he beat bowen this year but it only matters what happens at the end of the year and trison shows he knows how to win there so I think he will be alright, thats were mertins and trison will meet up again and i think you will have the same results you had last year.

Actually that's the second time in a row Mertins has beat him. I think they've met this year three times. Mertins 2-1.

But trison beat him in the state finals last year so thats all that matters.

Oh and for the record, Trison got stiches in the inside on his lip MAYBE 45 mins at top before he wrestle Mertins. Yea Mertins is a good wrestler and all, don't get me wrong, but there shouldn't of been a pin there. Mertins caught him and showed how strong he really was by holding Graham down. But we will be defenitly seeing these two kids wrestle in the state finals again.

Ben Evans isnt wrestling because he was up for homecoming

Bowen against Mertins should be a really good matchup.

Are you kidding me? My coach would have said you are a wrestler and an asset to the team, now get your asset on the buss and if you win then they can give you the crown next week in a ceremony.
