Let me give this a try, BigHead is correct...Think of the 16-man State Bracket as 4 mini-brackets, with the No. 1 seed coming from the individual Regionals. The No. 1 seed from Regional A then wrestles the No. 4 seed from Regional D, No. 2 seed from Regional B vs. No. 3 seed from Regional C. This way, there is no opportunity to wrestle someone from your Regional in the first 2 rounds. The order of which Regional faces another is determined by a blind draw after Regionals, with each weight class being different. There is no 1 vs. 16, 2 vs. 15, etc. as in a regular 16-man bracket, with the top seeds being at the opposite ends of the brackets. I hope this helps clear this up for you...
