****Nothing changes. When i was in HS back in the early 80's (i graduated in 1982) we had two major camps. We called them the jocks and the freaks. Looking back now i see that we were insecure kids that felt better if we slapped a label on others. Hitler blamed everything on the Jews. Some jocks blamed everything on the freaks and vice versa. Basically, its just a sick herd mentality. The individual is not secure enough in and of and by himself, to let other be themselves.

And sorry dWelsh, i read over my last post and it did sound pretty bad. sorry. i dont get screwed, i just dont get treated like a "EMO"!!!!!!!!

***HA! Good job acknowledging your laspe in judgement and going into the victim mentality. I'm sure certain 'emo's' feel that they don't get 'treated' like the athletes. Why don't we all quit crying 'victim', and try to be kind to all? Even those that are very, very different from us. Like i tell my students, if you can't be kind to them, can you (not Gator in particular, but society at large) at least, just leave them alone? And, vice versa of course. Returning evil for evil will always catch up with you in the end. Better to 'kill' your enemies with kindness.
