once again, you going through this ordeal to count out every team's advancement points and round-by-round predictions just shows how very insane you are. oh, and interesting pick with Allen over Schroeder. i really can't wait for that rematch.
Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

I like the picks with Chapman, I just hope that Irvine and Arveson or at least one of them or one of our other guys finally wins a state title! It's been way to long in old Irish town!

I think Irvine will, and I think Arverson has a darn good chance.

Who was the last state champion that Chapman had? The only State Wrestling Champion for Chapman was: 1993 - 4A - 152 - Patton, Josh

This should be a good match. The only loss for Allen this year is Schroeder and that match was 5-5 down to the last few seconds. I think Schroeder is stonger but Allen is very quick. They both deserve to be in the finals and I predict it will be close with no overtime required. It could go either way.

Chapman has had several guys in the finals over the years, just not the best of luck in finishing on top of the podium.
Also getting past the semifinals has bitten many of our guys over the years.

I would like to see a rematch of Baker and Heckel in the finals. Baker has a tough road with Wright, Plummer, and Rush. Throw the rankings out the window in this weight class. There are a lot of kids deserving of a state title. I'm just partial to Baker since he played basketball his freshman year due to the fact that Smoky Valley didn't have a wrestling program back then.

I would like to see a lackey / arveson match in the quarterfinals. Lackey has a tough draw first round with Bogner. Sorry if my prior post came across wrong. What do you expect from an overzealous basketball player.

True, Allen (160)did loose 10-5, but it was much closer than that. With 7 seconds left he took a shot and Shroeder was ready. Why he didn't wait until OT is anyone's guess. But it is what it is. That Clay Center tournament was very early in the season and on the heals of football. Now that they have a few under their belts, we can see the improvement for both perhaps. It should be good and they both deserve the opportunity. Still I predict Allen to be the win in a close match.
