Isn't Brett Bahe at Great Bend now??

Nicholas Langford @ 285 is only in the 11th graded.

Bahe is ranked 2nd behind Graham!

Why would you move out the defending champion at that weight before the season even starts. We know how dominant Bahe was in 4A, but he'll have to earn his stripes in 5A now.

Just curious as to how does Hutch get the 3rd ranked team spot? I know that there is returning points and all but I dont know that they should automatically get 3rd in 5A. I noticed that RedStorm commented that Bahe would have to prove that he deserves to be ranked above Graham but shouldnt Hutchinson have to prove that they deserve to be ranked that high? I know Hutch is good but I think that Ark City and prob Great Bend both should be ranked above Hutch.Are we even sure that Graham is going to be at 119?

67… anybody that knows Coach Garcia knows that he is probably the best at his game during the last two weeks of the season. He has surprised more people with a bunch of young men that nobody has ever heard of. This guy has his reservations for the “Hall of Fame” other Coaches cringed when Hutch moved to 5A and they were dancing in the streets at 6A!

yea, with four placers returning, three of those being in the finals last year in 6A I believe they should deserve some recognition

Just glanced through the rankings above and I thought they all made pretty good sense (as much as preseason rankings can). One question I did have was at 135. Aldon Isenberg- a returning 2 time medalist is ranked 4th behind a freshman. I am sure the freshman (Colby Crank from Hutch) is deserving. Can anyone fill me in on his prior accomplishments?

Colby Crank is a sophomore this year. He has won several Kansas state youth titles and he took second at State 6A last year as a freshman at 135.

Colby Crank went 32-15 last year as a freshman and took 2nd at 6A-135. His kids state accomplishments are:

2005 - 4th
2004 - 2nd
2003 - dnp
2002 - 1st
2001 - 5th
2000 - 1st
1999 - 3rd

He is a tough kid with a great future, but ranking him ahead of Isenberg is reaching.

WOW!!! Brett was undefeated this season and brought home his third State Title!! Do you think he "earned" his stripes???
