TIGER WRESTLING LANDS SEVEN ON ALL-RMAC TEAMS

Seven individuals from the Fort Hays State wrestling squad earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors for the

2006-07 season. The Tigers had four first-team and three honorable mention selections.

First-team selections included Andrew Ubben at 285 pounds, James Annon at 141 pounds, Danny Grater at 157 pounds

and Tyler Gonzales at 197 pounds. Ubben, a senior, is having another great season heading into the NCAA Division II

Championships. He is currently 23-6 this season and ranked #4 in Division II. Annon, a sophomore had a great showing at the

RMAC Championships placing second. Annon is currently 16-10 this season. Freshmen Danny Grater and Tyler Gonzales each

placed third at the RMAC Championships. Grater and Gonzales are each having outstanding years as starters for the Tigers with

Grater having a record of 25-10 and Gonzales a record of 19-11.

Honorable mention selections for the Tigers included seniors Derek Patterson, Mikel Delk and Mike Howell. Patterson

received the honor at 133 pounds, Delk at 149 and Howell at 184.

All seven individuals will represent the Tigers at the NCAA Division II Championships in Kearney, Neb. The tournament

will take place March 9-10.
