If Kansas kids are unable to attend the REQUIRED/MANDATORY Camp there is an option. Kids could sign up with a club from any state or an ajoining state as long as they have a valid USA card. In the past I have seen several kids in the KC area practice and sign up with the Competitors in Missouri. Even if you live in the middle of the state it is not that hard to sign up with another club from another state. I think the hard fast rule of the requirement should be dropped. I am sure the Hays camp is excellent and I have heard that it is a very great learning tool. We have had some kids attend this camp an I have not heard a negative comment about the camp. Many kids are not able to attend for various reasons - WORK most likely is the number one reason. I think if they are training at Satelite practices rooms that have qualified coaches they will be well prepared for the Southern Plains tournament. Just a thought!
