We will NOT be finalizing the team until after the state tournament. I need phone, email, and all other pertinent information from you this weekend so I can call everyone Sunday night. It was pointed out that it would not be a good idea to disappoint anyone before the state tournament with the rosters. Of course this means that matches at the state tournament will influence the selections for the teams. I just don't see any way around this. The list below was compiled from coaches and parents around the state emailing me. I am assuming all of those listed are wanting to go. If not please email me. I will announce a meeting for Saturday night to hand out all of the information. We will be staying in hotels in West Des Moines,IA and wrestling in Indianola. The vans will leave Lawrence,KS on Friday afternoon at 1pm sharp. The wrestlers will weigh, eat and then be checked into their rooms. The cost will be between $200 and $225 which will include a singlet, shirt, shorts, room for two nights, transportation, and entry fee & registration. We will gladly accept scholarships from clubs, donations from businesses, or whatever it takes to get three kids at each weight from Kansas. Each team will wrestle in a minimum of seven duals.
