... OH, the infamous Boardwalk is now concrete! The "Boardwalk" stretches along the Atlantic for 4 1/2 miles. The "board" walk was wiped out by a hurricane in the late 30's or early 40's according to a local source.
One of the clerks at a shop we stopped out has family in Newton!
The Virginia Beach Convention Center is a brand new facility and is a gorgeous piece of architecture! You have to put it on the, "places to see" list for all you land-lovers!
