First off I would like to think everyone who called, sent emails, and gave advise over the last few months. I started wrestling when I was 12 and coaching when I was 18, all of my adult life I have coached and to get that taken away not only from me but to the kids in Kansas City, KS is senseless.

I have decided not to post on this board for a while, while I talk to school district officals. I did recieve a letter from them clearing my name of any wrong doing including the removal of a letter placed in my personnel file for no reason. However the damage was already done as I dont see myself coaching in KCK anytime in the near future. It is so unfortunate to see adults play politics with the lives on youth and the people on the front lines. No more Wyandotte County Kids Club, my middle school team where we avg 40 or more kids per year on the team, and my high school team where I sent the first two Schlagle wrestlers off to college this summer the first in over 10 years.

I am proud of my accomplishments and all the help and support I have recieved over the years. I recieved over 50 emails and several phone calls last May it almost made me feel like I was important. I feel very lucky to be apart of a great wrestling family that continuing to giving back just seem like such a natual thing to do.

I still plan on staying active in wrestling so if anyone in the area is looking for an assistant coach with head coach experience send me an email. If that doesn't follow through I plan on officiating.
