This rule has existed forever. Why does this whole process seem like such a mystery to everyone?
While the rule has been around forever it's not something that is widely discussed around the mat or at tournaments. It almost seems that some of these kids that are being co-opped are a dirty little secret for some reason. I would like to see us move away from co-op programs in all but our smallest schools, in order to grow the sport.
