Keep pimpin' your wrestlers. I know there will be some movements over the next few weeks but this weekend will give us some good ideas of where everyone is at or who may have been left off. Coaches and fans have been doing a great job of posting or sending IM's to let me know about kids who may have been accidently overlooked or deserving of recognition. It is hard to keep up on 900 4A wrestlers so do not feel like you are a burden when you tell me when "so and so beat so and so"

My last graduate class of the semester is Monday night and then I'll be able to look at all of the results and update these rankings by mid-week! Don't forget to post results or send them on to Cosmo!

Blue Jays Perfect in Opener

Junction City wrestler Mike Treat pinned Clay Center's Alex Gaines with just under a minute left in their match. The win, and six points, gave the Blue Jays their first win over Clay Center in five years at home Thursday night.

The 285-pound match became the de facto title match after the Blue Jays' Dexter Chase was pinned by Michael Patenaude in the preceding match.

"That was a very good win for us," coach Bob Laster said of the 34-28 decision over the Tigers. Clay Center entered the dual with the Class 4A No. 1 ranking.

Thanks for clearing it up. I appreciate it.

Keep an eye on corey Crawford (Augusta - 140 lbs) He beat Sean Gaither in the El Dorado Tournament.

Correction: Corey Crawford competed at 145 lbs. That aside, the above comments remain valid!
