Anybody care to share some of their favorite wrestling quotes?
I like Dan Gables, "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy."
Or from Eric Akin interviewed on Real Pro Wrestling on cutting weight said, "I have felt a level of thirst probally 99% of the population has never felt." (I think I got that right Akin please correct me if I'm wrong)

My personal favorite for the urine testing of wrestling is: "Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence."---Ricky Bobby

I was at a clinic that Dan Gable put on this November. His high school coach, Bob Siddens, had a great quote. He said that before each match he reminded his team....
"We win with humility, we lose with dignity, but most of all DON'T LOSE!"
I thought that summed it up pretty good.

Monk Edwards, a long ago coach at Wichita Southeast used to tell his wrestlers:
"You win some, you lose some, but you have to get suited up for all of them."

I'm going to throw in a new one, with credit to C. Nitcher from Valley Center who may not even know he said it. It happened at the Fall Brawl in K.C. prior to the start of the season. Chase was in a very tight match, and soundly was screwed on 2 calls, and quite possibly a 3rd depending on which side of the fence you were on. During the match he took it pretty well, but ended up losing in (I beleive) multiple overtimes by 1 point. As he nicely (and he did nicely) put down the leg band he dropped the "F-Bomb". At that time the official loudly awarded a point to the other wrestler. Chase looked at the official and said: "WHOOP-TEE-DO, I ALREADY LOST!" Several of us watching went from being irritated at the officiating to laughing out loud. How can you go from dropping the "F-BOMB" to "WHOOP-TEE-DO"???? Chase, if you read this, I was going to tease you about it at the Colby Tournament, but you guys left before I could catch you. I now think that "WHOOP-TEE-DO" is one of the best lines I've ever heard at a wrestling event! (And yes, it was probably funnier if you were there in person :))

Hard work beats talent, if talent doesn't work hard. That quote sums it all up for me.
