Gary,
You got this out of the KSHSAA book which only applies to competitors, coaches and I assume school employees. This is my interpretation as well as that of the AD of the host school. We could be wrong but if we are I guess communism is alive and well in Kansas! The entire tournament at Garden City was being simulcast in their hospitality room by a video camera!
Do you think it is feasible to run around the gym and ask everyone who has a camera if they are filming their wrestler? Do you think we should ban cameras? Football and Basketball teams exchange films and scout. Why can't wrestlers do the same? If you don't think we should be able to tape and review then you are a part of the movement to lower the standard of competitiveness in Kansas. Just this past weekend three Kansas teams hosted events and invited out of state teams to compete and all three events were won by out of state invitees. Wake up! We are falling behind because of a failure to be progressive and by not changing rules, methods, and philosophies. I challenge you to dispute that the KSHSAA rules are in place to level the playing field by bringing the top down instead of the bottom up.
