I will say if you would post the won-lost record of the kids insted of who you think would beat the other you might find that a lot of kids that are ranked low have a better record than the first or secord place kids do. to prove a point is 12 and 1 a better record than 26 and two? Well I think when all is said and done you will find some diffent faces in the top six at state than you have in the rankings now. I think that when you have not wrestled more than 15 matches its a little unfair to rank them


Unless you rank a kid like Boaz Beard who just wrestled his first tournament of the year and beat Tyler Koehn soundly. The issue is "who" you have wrestled, not so much the record.


I totally agree! Win/Lose is a great tool but many times, it is a bit deceiving. It is WHO you have wrestled that matters...not how many times you win. There are JV wrestlers with great records. And besides, being ranked in the top 6 is wonderful, but it still doesn't automatically guarantee a spot on the podium come state tournament time.
