Okay, I've been reading these posts, mainly because I've heard several people who are near and dear to our family talk about it, and have controlled my impulse to add anything until now. But since it will probably be one of my last posts for quite awhile, plus my husband isn't here to stop me....I have to do it. I have not heard one person mention anything about educating our wrestlers about "the predators." As parents we can't catch every bad thing that is happening around our children. But we can teach our children about the bad things that could happen around them, and to them, and how to protect themselves from these dangers and we need to listen to our kids. Our kids show the signs of any dangers, we just need to look for those signs, ask questions and answer questions honestly. That way our kids have a better understanding.
I'm sure if anyone would like more information on that, the FBI would be happy to educate you. This, in my opinion, is our best defense against the dangers, more so than being worried about who is watching our children wrestled. There is nothing they can do to a video tape, nor with an educated child.
