While I don't care one way or the other if a tournament posts results NWKCAT brings up a good point. That being the SOP of all tournaments starting late these days. In District 2 I have not been to a tournament this year that started on time! Tournament directors listen up! It is NEVER acceptable to rebracket the day of the tournament UNLESS there is a problem that is your fault or an act of God such as a winter storm! When and where you can rebracket in such an instance as NWKCAT gives do so as long as it doesn't hold up the tournament. I don't care that if there are a bunch of scratches nor the reason. You run these tournaments for the betterment of the majority of the kids not some individuals who don't make weight or happen to be in a bracket that with same. That is the luck of the draw. We are fortunate in D2 that a combination of low numbers and spit tournament formats should make Saturdays manageable. But all that is lost if you choose to rebracket and start the tournament late.
