Taylor Moeder (Freshman from Colby) beat Antillion pretty good at the Colby Duals.

Man....

We are TOTALLY supporting our Kansas team! With the "metro" restrictions, I think the best possible kids were selected and should be honored to have been chosen. The Missouri post brought up the radius restrictions and the possibility of having an entire State opportunity. This was NOT "coming up with a better line-up" for metro KC.

I WOULD AGREE WITH DFW. INSTEAD OF THINKING ABOUT WHAT IFFFFF'S,IT IS WHAT IT IS, SUPPORT THE KIDS SELECTED. THEY SEE PEOPLE POST ON HERE, THAT SOMEONE THINKS THEY SHOULD NOT BE THERE. THEY START THINKING WHY DO I NEED TO GO THROUGH MORE PRACTICES AS I AM DONE WITH MY CAREER IN WRESTLING.

Nobody thinks they should not be there. Every single wrestler on the roster deserves to be there. They need to go through the practices because the KC Metro bragging rights are on the line! At least the beasts that we have on our roster are not as thin skinned as some posters!

GO KANSAS!

I hear you Derek and I understand your point. I also love the team concept idea and the underdog kid wrestling for State pride. Let me be clear, this is a STRONG Kansas team! There is no doubt in my mind that this roster has the heart to win any match at this dual. Can't wait till Wednesday!

If members of the team are reading this, then they should realize that they are wrestling some of the best of the best MO has to offer (right there in the metro area) and should be pumped about the chance to compete against them.

Guys...

I can tell you that without exception, every KS wrestler on our roster knows their opponent and the honor it is to be selected for this team. You guys are the only ones that feel slighted. These are elite level wrestlers that are hungry to battle with Missouri. Why do you feel the need to protect their feelings? They are decorated Kansas champions.

Sharky is a Junior, this is a Seniors event.

This years Metro Classic will be video taped. If you are unable to attend, contact Randy Westfahl and as soon as we have it copied and edited we will send out a copy. I will post the price as soon as I know.

My mistake, I completely overlooked that fact that it is a senior duel.

Randy Westfahl here. I am not doing the film this year, but it will be posted on here who is and if you want to bring your cam and film we have absolutely no objection to that at all. It will also be shown on Metro Sports and then you can hear our brilliant (sarcasm) commentary lol. But the short answer is it will be available in any number of ways.

Randy, I enjoyed the DVD you sent me last year. Thank you.

Can you provide the time and channel and network and all those associated details if a person wanted to record it and had access/resource in the KC area? You can PM if you'd like. Thanks. Dean

There was a post on MissouriWrestling.com that they will have videos (free) online by the day after the metro classic.

with boys dropping 1 and a few 2 weight classes both teams should have to weigh in together with coaches from each side 2 hrs. prior of match or night before.
