I do not have a dog in this fight, unfortunatly my son was not selected in last years bunch of 145 lbers. I do have a couple comments on the event though. As far as Nay last year,,,he was HANDS DOWN the best in Mo, would he have won, that will never be known. Now for the matter of weigh ins, who in their right mind can argue that if two kids are BOTH cutting weight, that the kid that gets more to eat/drink for a longer period of time will not have a HUGE advantage. Weigh ins need to ATLEAST be held at the SAME TIME, just to keep it fair to the kids. I would proprose that it be done infront of a coach from the opposite state. BTW I want to thank Mike Furches for the advice on college recruiting,,it certainly helped for my son.
