Dawg:
If Springboard had stated it the way you did, I would have been fine with it. I stated in my first reply to Springboard's first post that Duane, Atticus and Andrus were national ranked wrestlers who were in a class by themselves in Kansas this year. If Springboard had just stated that one thing that hindered Duane's conditioning this year was that he overpowered most of his opponents with quick first period pins, I would not have found that acceptable. That is not how he put it and his second post was not much better in his description of the other Kansas heavyweights. He may not have intended to criticize the other Kansas heavyweights but he did in his posts.
Jacob only faced Duane twice the last two years both times at the Bobcat in the finals last year and in the semifinal this year. Both times Duane overpowered Jacob and pinned him in the second period of both matches. I have been a big fan of Duane's ever since that first match. I think he is incredibly powerful and fast athlete who has a great future. He also seems like a real nice young man. I know Jacob likes him and has a great deal of respect for him. We wish him the best of luck in his football career at KU.
