The Senior Classic teams have been selected. James Stout of Abilene HS (President of the KWCA) has OK'd the release of the blue team (6A&5A) vs. the red team 4A&321A. Their were several athletes that turned the KWCA down because of other responsibility's. We had one opening at 2pm. today #130 Blue team and it has been filled by Garden City Jamie Quintanar vs. Red team Kevin Callahan. Coach Ryan Karjala of Emporia has the huge task of contacting the senior athlete once they committed. Coach Charbonneau, CCHS, Bill Johnson of Norton, Brian Shelton of VCHS, Travis Keal of Mill Valley, and Darian Eshelman of Wichita made the first contact with the seniors. Other KWCA officers like myself helped when needed to contaact Head Coach and senior athlete. I have the official list if someone will email me I will send the list to you. I perfer that Coach Karjala post the official roster or Coach Stout they have done a lot of work. Side note When Ryan Karjala of Derby HS came to the senior class to wrestle his senior year. I put the meet on back in Rossville that year and Ryan was 15 pounds over!!But he got down to weight and competed.
