Back off. It is suppose to be about having fun. If they are not having fun - it is time to get out. I have known many studs that took a year off -- (due to burn out) and then came back with a PASSION and won state titles. However, if they don't come back - that is fine to. Kind of like that cheesy poem about love -- hold it tight and then let it go, if it comes back, it was meant to be. If it doesn't - then it never was true love and then move on to something else to get passionate about.
