Jordan Meyer takes his turn! He gives up a toss with back-points to trail 0-5. Jordan gains an escape but gives up another takedown. Another escape ... but another takedown. Jordan gets caught in a Granby roll. Jordan ends his venture at the Beach, 2-14.
Sam Thoman is next! Sam scored the takedown and locks up the cradle. Sam tries to dive over the opponents back but gives up the reversal with 3-back points. The second begins with the score, 2-5. Sam is on top. An escape for the foe. In the third, Sam opts down and quickly gains the escape. Sam loses by decision.
Both Jordan and Sam have had outstanding scholastic careers and today they come to a close for this folkstyle season.

C.J. Napier finished 5th in the Junior division of this tourney!
FYI ... the heavy-weight that Zlatnik lost to ... lost in the Semi's to Ziad Haddad of Pennsylvania. The wrestler Atticus lost to had advanced to the finals!
There are two, 5-time State Champs in this tourney!

Kevin Callahan takes his turn! At the end of 1, we are scoreless! Kevin opts down, earns the quick escape and the takedown. His foe escapes. He gives up the takedown and the 2nd period ends, tied at 3. His foe opts bottom and is allowed to escape. Kevin loses and his bid is over. Kevin returns to Baldwin City having had a good performance in this tourney and an record setting career in Kansas!
