Kyle Caylor won when his opponent took an injury default
Steve O throttles another!
DeShazer is up ... he loses the 1st period, 0-1. The second, Daniel loses the period and the match, 0-1, 0-1.
Howard Johnson suffers a loss.
Jeff Vesta is up ... and scoring quickly, he takes a 7-0 lead to win the period. In the 2nd, he scores a single ... and again this time tacking on a pair of guts ... Jeff wins this period, 6-0.

It's Parker Madl's turn ... he is leading in the 1st, 3-0 ... and the whistle blow with the same score. He opens up the second with a takedown ... his opponent scores but Parker counters for 2 ... Parker on the 2-point gut ... and wins the period, 7-1!!
Nathan Furches wins!
Chaz Lawrence loses.
Jake Tanenbaum wins!

Cervantes is up ... Patrick gives the pushout ... and later a pair of 3's. In the 2nd, again the Spud scores the pushout ... in this bout, Patrick found someone that matched his physical intersity but had plenty of technique ... Cervantes loses.
Sharky remains undefeated ... it was a bit in doubt but Sharky wins!
Kendric loses the first, 2-8. Kendric lead early in the 2nd, 1-0. Moore comes back to tie it. Moore wins the bout ... Kendric made a good accounting for himself against a nationally ranked opponent.
C.J. scores on the takedown. Then scores 3 on the takedown. Then wins the period, 7-0. C.J. scores on the pushout ... then again with the pushout ... C.J. wins the bout, 7-0, 2-0.
Chase Nelson is in a battle ... Chase wins the first ... his Hoosier opponent wins the second ... Chase is trailing midway through the 3rd, 0-2 ... Chase closes with a takedown ... and scores again ... and loses based on criteria!

Curtis,
I'm back at the dorm in between sessions, so I actually have better access to the Internet than Randy does right now! So I'll answer your question for him.
Shavlik failed to make weight for freestyle. Since the next weight class up did not have any available spots, he had to move up two weight classes (three weight classes above his Greco-Roman weight class). He went to medical with some pains after his first match, after which he withdrew from competition. Thanks Mike. That's a real bummer after his performance in Greco. Making weights half the battle though.

Despite the losses by DeShazer, Cokeley and Nelson, there are scenarios that could put all three of them in the finals. Tomorrow will be another big day!

I just wanted to say thanks to everybody that continues to post the updated results and information. More people are checking your updates than may be passing out thanks. I just wanted to let you know my appreciation. Most of the time I'm too busy all day to post a comment but I am checking about 20 times a day on my PDA or work computer or home computer. Thanks for the updates!!!!!
Good job to all the Kansas wrestlers that are in Fargo, all of them.
That young man from Ohio that Dapper beat first thing this morning is a tough wrestler. That kid beat Dapper in Southern Plains and I believe Dapper has never beaten him before. Great Win for him. I'm sure the ones that wrestled both styles are getting tired and have a few aches and pains. Keep up the good work!! I'm watching and many more are too.
