I want to thank everyone that helped us out with the shoes. After posting on here about the situation, I brought it up to the faculty during one of our Wednesday meetings. I was able to raise 200.00 dollars in donations from the rteachers in the building and purchase 11 pairs of shoes. Since then my principal has taken it upon himself to order 15 more pairs from SUPLAY.com. Now we have shoes for every wrestler on the team. For awhile we were trading out shoes before matches. If my 100lber wore an 8 and my 155 wore an 8 then my 100 would gie his shoes to my 155 after his match. Now we don't hae to do that anymore. We are currently in the middle of our season and we are tied for first place with a record of 4-2. Open weight classes hurt you. Our next dual is Dec 1st at West Middle School here in Kansas City. If we win then we will have to beat Sumner Academy to claim a portion of the league title. Again thank you for your support and I will keep you posted on the final results
