I agree with many of the posts before, I have been to State Tournaments at Salina and Wichita. To me I liked the overall feel of Wichita but it didn't have the best service. I think a question could come up that as big as Kansas Wrestling is, and it is big, why not have it in Kansas City at the Sprint Center, maybe were not that big, but you could definitely hold everything.
Most of the western school don't like the "travel" to Wichita for State track, how the heck do you think it would go over if you told Ulysses, Liberal, Goodland or St. Francis "Congrats on making it to state, it'll be 300+ miles away in KC!"
And for those that need to know, I graduated from Colby, so I know what the drive is like from "all the way out there" to "the big cities". Still make the trip twice a year to get with family...
