Chief, you're doing a great job. Oldtimer wrestling information junkies such as myself are very impressed with where we are at today. To help keep your info on the cutting edge I offer this - Noel Richardson of Chapman has been wrestling 171 all season. He is a fine young man, respectful of others, and a very hard worker with multiple quality wins already this season. Keep up the good work and maintain your thick skin with integrity.

How can you have retina injury from being choked out? Also I saw the match it wasn't a illegal hold until Marquez decided to change his postion on top and it was called right away. The air way wasn't cut off long enough to have a injury from it.

Tell that to Dr. King Lee, a retina specialist that he was rushed to from his eye doctor after losing vision in his eye. I bet he would be interested in your diagnosis.

Chief, I watch the 215 pound class. I am a big fan but certainly not an expert. Why does Josh Hicks continue to drop in that ranking? He started out as 3rd and has dropped all the way to 7th without a loss to any of these guys. I only know of one loss for him this year (and that was to an OK kid) and he has actually beat ranked wrestlers (Cole). I know some 189 pound guys have moved up and Caylor is the big dog but why rank the 189 pounders over this guy. Also, (and this is not meant disrespectfully) but where did Jake Woten come from? I did not see him in any of your early rankings and then poof, there he is.
Again, Im not the expert you guys are, I just was trying to understand the logic!

Cheif you may want to put Cole Zoglman from Garden Plain in the mix at 145. I know he wasn't out last year, but he still is one of the top wrestlers in the state.

I see Harry Lamar must have erased his statement about Cokeley not producing a "body of work" like Harry apparently has. I had seen it earlier this morning, and only now had time to try to find it and see if I read what I thought I read.
Just to add to Cokeley's "body of work". This weekend he somehow or another put together 4 Kansas teams for the Park Hill Duals. Guess how many Cokeley boys were taking part? Yep, you guessed it, zero.
Thanks for all you do Cokeley.

Tom,
I think you are misunderstanding Dougs post. He is stating Coke's hard work for KS kids, even though his kids aren't directly involved with the PH dual, as he did with MSD last year.

275--Marquez, BC, dec. Heithaus 5-2
This happened Thursday.
Coach Craig Adams CJW This one is interesting. What do you do with Vincent pinning Marquez and Marquez beating Heithaus? Cheif, Marquez, BC beat Finny last year and Heithaus Thurs. don,t you think Marquez should be 2nd and at worst case 3rd in all class ranking? Just checking here! I sure can't see him ranked as low as you have him. Jess Keith

I hear you Jess. Let me re-think that one. I know Tony is tough. His 12 losses last year had me hung up. I know I can't put him #2, with the Heithaus/Vincent history and Finney has criteria over Lucas. It's not easy man!

Well what you could do is keep one and two then have a tie for 3 since they all have something over each other. However Finney did beat Heithaus last year at the maize tournament I believe

BLT, Jake Woten was thought to be a heavyweight at the beginning of the year, but is actually a 215 pounder. He was the State Runner Up last year losing to Caylor 3-1. He beat Hicks in the semi's 3-0.

I believe all four wrestlers will have a chance at each other as the year goes on, it will be nice to have the best in the state from 3 different classes settle it on the mat. Since 3 of the four are juniors should make for some quality match ups for next year as well.
Who run Bartertown!

I agree master. Heavyweight may not be as great as the past couple of years with Disney, Zlantic and Big Steve, but all these boys are still pretty good.
