Will, Will, Will. Now I cant take it anymore. It really gets old when you continuously dog on people that have built up a tremendous body of work in the sport of wrestling. People that have dedicated a large portion of their lives to the sport. People that believe in God, Family, and Wrestling and sometimes not in that order! Individuals that have "saved" dozens or maybe even hundreds of kids through the years. People that have earned respect from the wrestling community. People that have changed rules, and made the sport better in Kansas through years of hard work. People that understand the system and how it works and how it can be changed. These are people that have earned respect through a body of work. They have Coached, went to Board meetings, went to parents homes, went to camps, sacrificed time energy and money for the sport and for many kids for many years. I could go on and on. As far as I know, you are not one of those people! You simply throw stuff out there without a viable solution. Start you own body of work, earn some respect then you can join the "fraternity" that you hate so. Like Billy, said. End of discussion on this format. And if you want to talk about it we will see you at the Basehor Inv.

Harry, You don't know Will if you think he hasn't coached, went to board meetings, went to parents homes, went to camps or sacrificed time and money for the sport. I can't name anyone that is currently doing more for Kansas wrestling than him. His threads on this forum are filled with viable solutions. As for the bias, why would I have a bias against any class? I have received hundreds of posts, pm's, e-mails and phone calls with valuable input on head-to heads and like opponents that have contributed to the integrity of the rankings. The main point of Will's posts have centered on the fact that the 321A schools have less weighted criteria than those schools that battle with the top ranked teams each year. Virtually every national ranking publication relies on the results of the biggest stages and my All-Class ranking is no exception. It is simple. I have made it very clear. If you have any input that would enhance the accuracy of the rankings, state your case. If a 321A wrestler had criteria over a large class wrestler, I would gladly rank him higher. Why wouldn't I? It's a simple case of "who have you wrestled"? The bottom line is, you can't just claim a bias without also providing examples!

As I read the posts on this thread and other threads on these forums I have come to the conclusion that the "Fraternity" as Mr. Lamar calls it has grown old and stale. I see no ideas from these people on how to improve wrestling and grow this great sport. They just want everything to stay the same. Mr.Cokeley has done more for the kids wrestling in Kansas than the rest of you combined. Maybe you did at one time but it seems as if you have grown fat and lazy and now have trouble getting out of your lazyboys. The all class rankings look about right,If the 321A schools want more respect then earn it, wrestle at the big tournaments, encourage your kids to wrestle in the summer, and please stop whining about getting no respect.

I do not take offense to these rankings, they are fun to read and help me gain knowledge of different wrestlers from around the state. Nor do I care about the politics of wrestling in Kansas. I would love to see a Grand State and a State dual tournament. However, I have no control over these situations. Mr Cokeley your passion for the sport is to be commended, and I hope you continue to promote our sport and write on this forum. I usually do not agree with you, but I enjoy your willingness to share your thoughts. As a teacher and coach, I do my best to train tough wrestlers, and individuals who carry that toughness into all aspects of their life's. I will continue to find ways to educate the wrestlers both in the classroom and on the mat. I will encourage them to find time between harvests to seek out the toughest wrestlers, while at the same time remebering that success in a program goes beyond the number of state champions produced. Daily progress is our motto, and I am proud to say our wrestlers embody the motto in the truest sense. As far as comparing schools, each school has their own unique situations, and each of them have good points to their arguments concerning the issue of State Wrestling and winter sports in general. I hope we continue to move the sports forward, while not alienating all of the kids that put in their time on the mat, win or lose. They definitley are a part of our wrestling family and deserve our respect.

Coach Craig Adams CJW This one is interesting. What do you do with Vincent pinning Marquez and Marquez beating Heithaus?

I know what to do put BJ Finney as 1 and Heithaus as 2 then vincent and marquez as 3 and 4. Since vincent is 0 and life agaisnt Heithaus and Finney tech pinned vincent last year at bobcat. You counld even make a case for marquez as 3 since the ref didn't want to call the pin in the vincent and marquez match.

I saw the Vincent/Marquez match and Lucas fought it off. It was the right call. I also saw the Finney/Vincent match as well as Heithaus/Vincent. All said, I am most likely standing pat on the 1-2-3 and adding Marquez to the rankings.

Chief - At 112lbs., talking about someone under the radar; Bo Newport would place well ahead of numerous wrestlers listed. Watched him give Ornelas a great battle this weekend, and sounded like he was right in the match with Callahan as well.
