On intermatwrestle.com there is a link for stats for the top HS wrestlers in various catagories. This link is to the NWCA of which KS is a member I assume with our KWCA. My question is why is there no data listed for ANY Kansas kid? I would think this added publicity would be great for KS wrestling and who knows maybe even a college coach or two might look to see if there is anyone out there he has not heard of to recruit. For example you can look up what 135lb Sr's have the most wins this year and see kids from all over many states, but no KS. I even did a seach for only KS kids and there are none listed with any records or stats.
I know this is not a mandate or rule they give stat data to NWCA, but it seems we are cutting our kids short if other states are reporting this data and we are not. Any ideas why we don't do this or who we should contact to see if they can. Other states seem to be able to gather this data.

First, I don't think my KWCA membership buys me into the NWCA. I would venture to say, that not many Kansas coaches, belong to the NWCA.
But I do ... I will look into the requirements for entering data on wrestlers. Perhaps you have to be the coach of a wrestler to enter them. If there is no such need, perhaps we can get a few on their list.
Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?
