Haha, i was just looking at these and thinking about something... at this years state tournament, it would of been 4 years ago... at 152, a senior from lawrence high (Brendan Halpin) upset a few guys(Blake Long and someone else) and made it too the finals against freshman from Goddard Boaz Beard... How funny would that be if Houlden and Reece Conklin make the finals... I personally think it would be awesome... keep up the good showings reece

Lawrence has themselves a nice Freshman Brandon. He continues to impress me. Also beware of Hunter Haralson next year. He is a beast in a 103 pound body.

Cox has not shown up for several tournaments in a row. I was sure looking forward to the Garden City 130 bracket and, no Cox. I was told by his coach that he was healthy the week before at BVNW, but no Cox there either. Can you name the quality wins he has this year? Cokeley wrestles every week as well as earning National honors in the summer. His only loss to a Kansas wrestler this year is to C.J. Napier in a close match in which he bumped up a weight just to challenge Napier.
I have not seen Trent Cox in any results since 12/20/08. He beat Trey Houlden and Biddle on 12/6. He lost 8-2 to Ramon Willis, the #2 ranked 130 pounder from Oklahoma on 12/13 and then was entered with a 0-0 record at Emporia on 12/20. I confirmed with his coach today that he will be wrestling this weekend at 130, so I added him back to the 6A ranking at #1. Based on this year's results, he is #2 All-Class.
It was not a hard decision.

At 189, Bortz of Pratt beat Davis of Liberal tonight in the Pratt/Liberal Dual 6-4.
Davis had beaten him at the Liberal Tourney 7-5. Bortz now has one loss on the season and deserves another look.

State your case on Cox, Stevie. I'm not trying to bring it up again, it's been settled. But that was the exact same argument for keeping Furches ahead of Gentzler a few weeks ago. Why should I state my case when you never gave me a legitimate reason about that? Seems bias to me.
