Derek Heckel from Ulysses lost the first round and came all the way through the back side to take fourth at 184. Proud of you Derek! Way to battle back.
We are proud of Derek too. The guy he lost to in the first round wound up National Champion. Also we were anxiously sitting through the HWT final, as you see above Derek had 4 pins, that had him tied with Clackamas HWT in amount, but Heckel's time of falls were faster by nearly 40 seconds. Didn't work out though and finished 2nd in the most falls category.
