The barn's seating capacity would get in the way of inviting the top eight. I have spoken to many of the top wrestlers about their willingness to wrestle off at the "Barn Burner" event! Best two out of three. We wrestle, eat BBQ, and wrestle again! Some weights would just require two wrestlers, i.e. 130!

Now the BBQ is the gravy on the biscuit, but as to charging admission, supply and demand friend, charge $100 per ticket, of course, coaches get in for $20, but only 2 coaches per corner.

How many people will the barn seat? Is there any chance of a venue that could seat more? I don't mind the cost! I just think that if everyone buys into this it could get HUGE!

No disrespect to Bo Pursel, he is awesome, huge, big time, arguably the best technician in the state. But I do not see how you can put anyone at 103 above Windham. Windham did everything that was asked of him. Clearly, 5A 103 was a loaded monster bracket and 6A's was not as "tough". The champion of that 5A bracket is totally legit, but after all, we already knew that about Pursel watching him come up through the ranks. You still cannot "punish" Windham because he did not win that bracket. He won the one that he was in and already proved that he could have won the 5A bracket having two wins over Watters. Yes, Watters did beat Windham, but the last two victories went to Windham. Additionally, Windham also beat Seybold a stud as well who beat Watters at regionals. Pursel did beat Seybold at state but one of his losses was to Seybold at Basehor. Windham obviously knew that he had something to prove at state and he did as he completely destroyed by tech fall another stud, Whitten of Maize, in the finals. Whitten was second at the now Mythical Garden City Tournament and only lost to Pursel 12-7 (I believe)at Emporia. The are both great, but I still do not see how you can put anyone ahead of Windham.

How can you show such bias in your rankings and arbitrarily place one wrestler over another when the two have actually gone head to head? Why is the standard for injury default acceptable for one wrestler and not for another? Please feel free to elaborate, I'd love to hear your reasoning.

Explain which arbitrary bias and unacceptable injury default standard you are talking about. I have always freely talked about ranking decisions. I just can't talk in code. P.S. I'm a Jake Walker fan...

Cause chief's a joke, he puts who he wants thats all.... That's a good one. Usually when someone disagrees, they state their case. Do you have one?

does place at state matter? or is it head to head? everyone who questions the chief's rankings should make their own. the tournament is over the hardware has been passed out. no offense, chief, but the rankings are kind of like the bcs, they don't mean much. but i commend you for your time and effort. they are fun to read, but some people just get bent out of shape over another man's opinion.
