They are listed by seed so you could put them on a bracket yourself.

I am not sure what you are looking at because if you look from top to bottom they are numbered unless they are in a Round Robin

Yes, I get all that, about being able to make my own brackets, but isn't that the beauty and one of the reasons for using track wrestling??? For the convenience of being able to print brackets? Isn't that why weigh-in shuts off at 7:00 am, is to put all the info into the wonderful program so that we can all see what's going on?????

those numbers are not the seedings, they are simple showing the number of kids in the bracket group. in the shaded grey area it says not on bracket. if the seeds were showing it would say top of 1 or bottom of 8. go to track wrestling and look at D1 north. not the brackets, but the group and age and wt list.

I will guarantee you those are the seedings. I was at that seeding meeting from start to finish. They are seeded out they just did not build the brackets.

as with D3 East. it shows Ashton Wiegand at top of 1 and Garren Jackson at bottom of 8. They are the 1 and 2 seeds. If Ashton had a match first round, it would say bottom of 1 by the kids name. Ashton has a bye 1st round. providing nothing changes before the tourn.

I will guarantee you those are the seedings. I was at that seeding meeting from start to finish. They are seeded out they just did not build the brackets. track wrestling as far as I know only allows 1/2 of the kids to be seeded. the computer will draw in the remaining kids as well as the byes. so in your 8u 49# bracket you guys seeded 2 D wrestlers above 2 B wrestlers?

It will allow you to seed every single wrestler in the bracket but most sub-districts only seed about half the kids then draw in. In some brackets they assigned seeds to some in the second half to try to keep them on the opposite side of the bracket as another kid from the same team.
As for 8U 49 the B wrestlers are 6U kids and the D wrestlers are 8U. By criteria all 8U kids seed above 6U kids unless the 6U kid has a 8U record.

well there you have it Nix, you know that lil nix is the 5 seed. you dont know if he has a bye or if he will be wrestling the 12 seed. I guess it can be done that way. your just gonna be in the dark awhile longer. sry, I'm not da man...lol.
regardless, best of luck to Jeffery!

I guess if you put the byes in at 13,14,15 & 16 then lil nix will wrestle the 12 seed. If the computer draws in the byes the entire bracket will change.
so your 1,2,3,4 seeds will all get byes if it stays the way it is now.
If you only seed half the kids, the byes can be random. Just depends on how your district likes to do the byes. Randomly or to the top seeded kids. Personally, I prefer Kolton to have a 1st round match over a bye.

...In some brackets they assigned seeds to some in the second half to try to keep them on the opposite side of the bracket as another kid from the same team.... In addition to the above, TW also has a setting to separate kids from the same club when bracketed (Seeding would override this).
