The middle school season is odd anyway. They need to make it more efficient. Not enough mat time for the length.
My son wrestled seventeen matches in a seven week season. The first week and a half was practice, so seventeen matches in five and half weeks. Our coaches were very good and the experience (wrestling Jr High for a team) was priceless.
