Great feedback! One thing I am confused about is the three state tournament comments. I suggested two:
6,8,10 In early February (requires subs, dist, state)
12,14,16,18 In early March (requires dist, state only)

There are lots of good questions and there is no solution that will satisfy all of the concerns and issues but status quo is definitely not a good answer.
